I am a Washington DC native, but travelled a great deal growing up, as my father was with the Dept. of State. We lived in Morocco, Cyrus and Yemen and travelled throughout Europe and the Middle East. I have a double major in French and International Relations, which I used in non-profit groups and PR positions in DC . My husband and I lived in France for 17 years where our two children were born; our daughter is a junior at CU-Boulder and our son is a Sophomore at Walt Whitman HS. While in France I was a wine broker and then my husband and I bought an 18th C farm in Provence which we converted into a Bed and Breakfast. Upon returning to DC in 2013, I got my Real Estate license and practiced that for 7 years. My favorite pastimes are horse back riding, water and snow skiing and above all travelling internationally.
Haute Interiors grew out of my passion for design and renovation, as well as my experience in Real Estate and my clients asking for design advice. 18 months ago a friend asked for help in re-doing their apartment; from there my projects have grown extensively and included kitchen and bathroom design and renovation, to full home re-designs including paint, furniture, lighting and floor finishing and smaller condo re-do’s for paint, furniture choice and plalcement. We work with residential clients in the DMV area and any sub contractors that we involve in projects need to be licensed and very reliable.
